Tesla itself will invest $2B and it is raising $1.6B of convertible debt to help fund the plant. J.C. Penney (JCP) is recently up $1.48 to $7.44 after the company reported a narrower-than-expected loss for Q4. The retailer said same-store sales for 2013 fell 7.4%, but that it sees same-store sales higher in 2014 by mid-single digits. March weekly option implied volatility is at 84, March is at 76, April is at 71, August are at 66; compared to its 26-week average of 82.

Hilton (HLT) is recently down 44c to $22.10 after the world largest hotel operator guided below 2014 analysts’ estimates. March option implied volatility is at 21, April is at 24, and July is at 25; compared to its 10-week average of 23.
